Heather Schlader adopted our dear sweet Bono which she has loyally been doing for many years. Most of the time Bono can be found at the visitor center where he enjoys every little treat he can get. This time it was a little difficult to find him but our search paid off with a nice picture of Heather and Bono together.
Madeleine Cosentino visited the donkey sanctuary and fell in love with the place. She adopted our sweet Pepper. Madeleine is a veterinarian and loves all animals.
Bre Manchip & Josh Marvil adopted 7Up online! Yes, that is also possible! 7Up is with us for a long time. She came in very sick and turned out she was pregnant. Unfortunately, she miscarried not long after. However, our 7Up is a warrior and bounced back after her ordeal. Now she is as good as ever!
Heather adopted Katoen, our shy yet oh so sweet guy! According to Heather, "Katoen (which is Cotton in Dutch) is such a sweet donkey and we are so excited to adopt him". And we cannot agree more! Welcome to the family Heather.
Katy and Justin Kesselman adopted our sweet and gentle Gypsy, who is always with her two besties, Diva and Lady Taco. They adopted Gypsy because she is a true beauty with her dark brown fur.
Take Route 4a from the hotels and follow this road for 14 km, pass all the circles/roundabouts until you see a sign for the French Men’s Pass. Make a left turn onto the French Men’s Pass, then 1st left, 2nd right. On that dirt road you will find the Donkey Sanctuary after about 200 meters.
