Tammy Rosbrook adopted Roland, one of our donkeys that has been with us for a long long time. He was out in the streets for 2 years (visitors left the gate open) and was finally found again in Savaneta. He is happy to be back. Tammy says she Loves the Donkey Sanctuary!
Katie & Andy Lee love animals. The foster cats, pick up and deliver food for them at home in the US and wanted to adopt that fluffy donkey they met at the gate. That is our Lady Taco, at the moment our youngest with about 2 years.
Ami, Liv, Debbie & Lass had so much fun working with the donkeys, so they raised some funds and adopted Kamino. They are sending lots of love! After working they all looked very satisfied. Till next year!
Sandra Hayton was picked by Diva. She wanted Sandra to be her adoption mom. Diva is a special donkey. She really behaves like a diva. Best friends with Gypsy and now also with Lady Taco, she has her ways to get things done. The 3 of them are "in" at night and "out" during the day. Sometimes she doesn't want to go "out" and everybody stays in with her....
Emily Cousinesu wants to be a vet. She says every donkey should have chance at love, that is why she adopted Kamino. She came a few times during her vaction. To feed all the donkeys a lot of carrots, apples and banana's. She also shuffled some poop.
Take Route 4a from the hotels and follow this road for 14 km, pass all the circles/roundabouts until you see a sign for the French Men’s Pass. Make a left turn onto the French Men’s Pass, then 1st left, 2nd right. On that dirt road you will find the Donkey Sanctuary after about 200 meters.
