Heather Schlader adopts Bono since 2008. Every year she comes and brings a lot of carrots and her parents. This year she didn't have enough vacation days so mom and dad Schlader represented Heather and renewed the adoption for her.
Heather Schlader has been coming to the Sanctuary on her visits to Aruba. She is renewing her adoption of Bono every year. With a new picture of the both of them.... Every year Bono is a little bit more white than before....
Susan and Marina adopt Stripes for many years now. He is a little bit shy still, so very hard to get into the picture. That is where I stepped in this year!
Renate Birwe visited the Sanctuary in August 2012 on her vacation . To help us out, she chose to adopt one of the donkeys. Her choice was Pirate, a young donkey, found in the Angochi area with his Mom, Chica, and friend, Snoopy. The adoption has been renewed every year since. Thank you Renate!
Renate renewed the adoption. Thank you!
Geneva Dash visited Turks & Caicos 3 years ago and totally fell in love with the donkeys. Now visiting Aruba she HAD to come and adopt our Kamino.
Take Route 4a from the hotels and follow this road for 14 km, pass all the circles/roundabouts until you see a sign for the French Men’s Pass. Make a left turn onto the French Men’s Pass, then 1st left, 2nd right. On that dirt road you will find the Donkey Sanctuary after about 200 meters.
If you have a GPS device, navigate to these coordinates:  N 12°48.974’  W 069°96.642’  This will bring you to the entrance of the Donkey Sanctuary.
