Alice & Mo Belarrem adopted Waiter. They love what we do and want to help us! Waiter came with us with a broken hip, which he rests on a rock or a step. Otherwise you can hardly see that he has a problem in the back. He uses the leg when he walks. The adoption is renewed again! Thank you....
John & Connie Richardson adopted Flora this time. Flora has her "winter" fur and therefor looks very fluffy. That is what attracted Connie to her. Flora is very shy, never became tame. She had a still birth some years ago and doesn't know if she can trust us or not? I met John and Connie on the parking lot when they left and John told me the donkeys are the reason why they come to Aruba. Isn't that the sweetest thing?
Susan McElroy is active in dog and cat rescue at home. She adopted Bringamosa because he has a soulful face. Bringamosa is named after the area he was walking around. He was living just around the corner of the sanctuary.

Take Route 4a from the hotels and follow this road for 14 km, pass all the circles/roundabouts until you see a sign for the French Men’s Pass. Make a left turn onto the French Men’s Pass, then 1st left, 2nd right. On that dirt road you will find the Donkey Sanctuary after about 200 meters.
