The Glynn family recently lost their beloved father Frank. In memory of Frank they adopted a donkey.
Timothy & Jacqueline Hackman visited us and on the way home they decided they wanted to adopt this gorgeous dark brown donkey. His name is Kroket. He is a very popular donkey not only because he sticks out his tongue after some treats.
Michelle Sales adopted a new family member. She choose Gerardo. Gerardo recently lost his companion Maartje. Luckily he is doing good.
Bill & Becky Potterton adopted Gerardo. One of our long time residents. Gerardo came to us back in 1999 so he lives with us for many many years.
Ammie adopted Sonic because it is needed! Sonic is the only donkey who was ever brought to us. He is with us for many many years. Around the corner of the old sanctuary there was a place where the taught children to ride a mini horse. Sonic was very loud and upset the horses and didn't want to leave anymore. So there was only one solution. To bring him to us.
Take Route 4a from the hotels and follow this road for 14 km, pass all the circles/roundabouts until you see a sign for the French Men’s Pass. Make a left turn onto the French Men’s Pass, then 1st left, 2nd right. On that dirt road you will find the Donkey Sanctuary after about 200 meters.
If you have a GPS device, navigate to these coordinates:  N 12°48.974’  W 069°96.642’  This will bring you to the entrance of the Donkey Sanctuary.
