Donette Looper has come 10 times to Aruba and alwaysadopt. She adopted Pumpkin this time. Pumpkin is with us since October, she came in with her mom Cranberry.
Steven Trigilio and Frank Reynolds are long time adoption parents. They started with Rason (who somehow got back into the streets and never showed up again) and changed that adoption into our sweet Ninja. The gentle but shy elderly donkey. They also adopted Aramis a couple of years ago. Steve was there to assist with the castration of Aramis and was impressed with the procedure and after care.
Thank you for your ongoing support Steve and Frank!
The Bueno Family adopted Big Momma this time she joined our family. Their favorite thing to do in Aruba is adopt a donkey! Big Momma is with us for several years already.
Carrie Hoffmann adopted the first baby born in our preservation program. Nebula is a female born out of Xena, the mom and Pluto, the dad. She is a little happy donkey and Carrie said: "Big or small, I love them all!"
Sabine & Thomas Urban adopted Cloudy by e-mail. They hope to visit Cloudy and her friends soon. Cloudy is friends with all the donkeys at the sanctuary but Tootsie and Rambo are her Best Friends.
Take Route 4a from the hotels and follow this road for 14 km, pass all the circles/roundabouts until you see a sign for the French Men’s Pass. Make a left turn onto the French Men’s Pass, then 1st left, 2nd right. On that dirt road you will find the Donkey Sanctuary after about 200 meters.
If you have a GPS device, navigate to these coordinates:  N 12°48.974’  W 069°96.642’  This will bring you to the entrance of the Donkey Sanctuary.
