John and Barbara Trent adopted Keto. They were already parents to Santa, who unfortunately we had to part ways with last December. They really want to continue supporting our sanctuary and decided to adopt Keto this time. Keto came to us when he was recued from a fall in a septic tank back in 2018.

John Richardson & Michelle Feller adopted Pearl & Cumin in honor of John's late wife, Connie (1961-2025). John and Connie were already parents to Simba, Flora & Tiger. Connie loved the sanctuary so much that John decided to honor her with the adoption of Pearl, mom to Cumin. Michelle decided to also honor Connie with the adoption of baby Cumin, our youngest donkey at the sanctuary.

Valerie Blum adopted Nebula, our youngest donkey. She was born December 23, so 10 days old today. The first baby in the preservation program we started last year.

Christie Alfano adopted Chippie for Emma. Chippie is the sweetest donkey of all. That is what they said! Chippie is with us for a very long time, almost from the beginning. The beginning is in April 29 years ago.

McKenna Warren treated herself with the adoption of Nebula for her birthday this year! Happy Birthday McKenna, hope this made your day to never forget?
Take Route 4a from the hotels and follow this road for 14 km, pass all the circles/roundabouts until you see a sign for the French Men’s Pass. Make a left turn onto the French Men’s Pass, then 1st left, 2nd right. On that dirt road you will find the Donkey Sanctuary after about 200 meters.
If you have a GPS device, navigate to these coordinates:  N 12°48.974’  W 069°96.642’  This will bring you to the entrance of the Donkey Sanctuary.
