Like every year Joanne and Michelle Lambert come to visit Juanito at my house. They spoil all 6 donkeys that live with me with a lot of carrots and apples. Of course all of them LOVE that. Like every year they renew the adoption. Thank you so much Joanne and Michelle, we appreciate you not only help us but also the dogs and cats of Aruba. Cheers to you!
Michelle Lambert loves Juanito! We think it is a very good reason to adopt him. Juanito was born with us as a surprise baby back in June 1999. We have no clue who is father is. His Mom Maud rejected him, even stood on his hind leg, which broke in the occasion. He has a brother, Twinkle and a sister, Baccha at the sanctuary as well.
Take Route 4a from the hotels and follow this road for 14 km, pass all the circles/roundabouts until you see a sign for the French Men’s Pass. Make a left turn onto the French Men’s Pass, then 1st left, 2nd right. On that dirt road you will find the Donkey Sanctuary after about 200 meters.
If you have a GPS device, navigate to these coordinates:  N 12°48.974’  W 069°96.642’  This will bring you to the entrance of the Donkey Sanctuary.
