Sandra and Marco Bladergroen are adopting Pepper for a very long time. Sandra, who was born on Aruba, already became a Friend of the Donkeys in 2016 decided to go for a more permanent support to our organization.
Tara Nicholson decided to adopt Kosh Kosh, a very friendly donkey who was bottle fed by us back in 2001. He also was the model for the little booklet Kosh Kosh The Green Donkey on Aruba.
Like every year Joanne and Michelle Lambert come to visit Juanito at my house. They spoil all 6 donkeys that live with me with a lot of carrots and apples. Of course all of them LOVE that. Like every year they renew the adoption. Thank you so much Joanne and Michelle, we appreciate you not only help us but also the dogs and cats of Aruba. Cheers to you!
Michelle Lambert loves Juanito! We think it is a very good reason to adopt him. Juanito was born with us as a surprise baby back in June 1999. We have no clue who is father is. His Mom Maud rejected him, even stood on his hind leg, which broke in the occasion. He has a brother, Twinkle and a sister, Baccha at the sanctuary as well.
Thistle is a birthday present for Karen Gauvin. Her husband Chris totally surprised her with this gift while they were visiting us, like they do every year! They renewed the adoption like every year. Happy birthday Karen on the 28th of June!
Robert & Crystal Cannata renewed the adoption for Santa, who is with us for many years. Santa was hit by a car in San Nicolas. He broke his front leg. It took us mor than 2,5 years before we could finally get him. He has a crooked leg, but still quality of life.
Happy birthday to the wife of Robert Cannata. They adopted Santa because how big is the chance that you meet Santa on your birthday when it is May 8th?
Take Route 4a from the hotels and follow this road for 14 km, pass all the circles/roundabouts until you see a sign for the French Men’s Pass. Make a left turn onto the French Men’s Pass, then 1st left, 2nd right. On that dirt road you will find the Donkey Sanctuary after about 200 meters.
If you have a GPS device, navigate to these coordinates:  N 12°48.974’  W 069°96.642’  This will bring you to the entrance of the Donkey Sanctuary.
