Lynn Coyle, from Arizona, chose to adopt Governess who is the mother of Donkey. Her husband Richard Coyle had adopted Donkey but calls him Ceasar, one of the 13 names the couple gave Donkey. Now husband and wife each have their own donkey.

Richard and Lynn brought their friends to the sanctuary and renewed their adoptions as well. Thank you dear Lynn and Richard!
Made some new pictures:

Lynn and Richard Coyle adopted Ceasar and his mom The Governess for many years now. Ceasar was nowhere to be found, The Governess was and she was willing to take a lot of pictures this time.

Murrel McLeod adopted Bandit for his wife Kaki McLeod's birthday. Bandit was eating in between the other donkeys in October 2011. We startled him and when he jumped up, we realized it wasn't one of our donkeys! With the guests we came up with the name Bandit, being sort of a burglar.

Sharyl & Dan Wilbur adopted Igor. They said he is so sweet and shy.

Oliver Dimas and his parents visited the sanctuary. They adopted Cowboy for Oliver because he is so cute. We think both of them are cute! Cowboy is living with us since 1999, a very long time!

Amanda, Maddy and Ron West adopted Cinnamon. Who isn't in the picture. Ron wrote: We were surprised by how much we loved what you are doing for the donkeys and actually loved being around them. They are so gentle (except when they step on my toes)
Take Route 4a from the hotels and follow this road for 14 km, pass all the circles/roundabouts until you see a sign for the French Men’s Pass. Make a left turn onto the French Men’s Pass, then 1st left, 2nd right. On that dirt road you will find the Donkey Sanctuary after about 200 meters.
If you have a GPS device, navigate to these coordinates:  N 12°48.974’  W 069°96.642’  This will bring you to the entrance of the Donkey Sanctuary.
Or use Google Maps Directions
