Wendee Maniago adopted Kroket, Sweet Kroket. They say: Thank you for running down to see us.
The Lebow Family adopted Ban Ban, they said he is the sweetest! Besides the sweetest he is the first donkey we took in our car, lives with us for 31 years already! Yes indeed, way before the foundation was established.
Kelly Woyak adopted Mr Bean, one of our elderly donkeys but still going strong.
Julie Olinger adopted Mr Bean because he is just a sweet old guy.
Kerri Gleason adopted Thunder. He was the first she fed and she fell in love with him. He is very sweet. He is indeed, however sometimes very loud. Around 11.30 am he stands in the back of the visitors center and starts braying. Originally the sound will carry very far and in this case under the roof it is deafening. We still love him though.
Take Route 4a from the hotels and follow this road for 14 km, pass all the circles/roundabouts until you see a sign for the French Men’s Pass. Make a left turn onto the French Men’s Pass, then 1st left, 2nd right. On that dirt road you will find the Donkey Sanctuary after about 200 meters.
If you have a GPS device, navigate to these coordinates:  N 12°48.974’  W 069°96.642’  This will bring you to the entrance of the Donkey Sanctuary.
