Fundacion Salba Nos Burico a.k.a. Donkey Sanctuary Aruba

(Foundation Save Our Donkey)

is a non profit organization that attends to mistreated, neglected, sick or roaming donkeys.

We have 120+ donkeys in our care at this moment. Another 35 are still roaming the Island, these donkeys will be taken in our care in the near future. More and more houses and roads are being build, less and less space is available for the donkeys. We do not only want to protect them against the traffic and abuse, we also want to preserve them as the National Cultural In heritage of Aruba.

Take Route 4a from the hotels and follow this road for 14 km, pass all the circles/roundabouts until you see a sign for the French Men’s Pass. Make a left turn onto the French Men’s Pass, then 1st left, 2nd right. On that dirt road you will find the Donkey Sanctuary after about 200 meters.

If you have a GPS device, navigate to these coordinates: N 12°48.974’ W 069°96.642’ This will bring you to the entrance of the Donkey Sanctuary.
